Whether you’re aiming for competition or just want to try something new with your dog, Soggie Doggie offers group workshops and private coaching in our heated indoor pool. Dogs practice from a shorter dock to build confidence before moving up toward the higher competition dock.
Introductory Dock-Diving Workshops
- Small groups, generally three to five dogs
- Paced so dogs have time to rest and recharge
- For dogs that are already experienced swimmers
- A strong toy drive is preferred
- Generally offered through the winter and into early spring, ahead of the competition season
Private Coach-Assisted Dock Diving
- Private 30-minute session
- Help introducing the dock jump
- Building confidence at the edge and a stronger takeoff
- Problem-solving for established teams between events
- Coaching adjusted to your dog’s experience and goals
Common Questions
Does my dog need to know how to swim first?
Yes. Dock-diving workshops are designed for dogs that are already experienced swimmers. Every dog new to Soggie Doggie also completes a Safety Swim Assessment.
When are workshops offered?
Group workshops are generally offered throughout the winter and into early spring to prepare for the competition season. Private sessions can be requested any time.
My dog isn’t a competitor. Can we still come?
Absolutely. Plenty of teams take dock diving just for fun and a new way to exercise together.
